If we don’t get involved next Christmas we can lose the Second Amendment.
The Second Amendment Protection Act of 2011 expresses the sense of the Congress that the United States should not adopt any treaty that poses a threat to national sovereignty or abridges any rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution, such as the right to keep and bear arms, and to withhold funding from the United Nations unless the President certifies that the United Nations has not taken action to restrict, attempt to restrict, or otherwise adversely infringe upon the rights of individuals in the United States to keep and bear arms, or abridge any of the other constitutionally protected rights of citizens of the United States.
My fellow Americans we need to wake up and stay engaged with legislation that is being passed in record numbers. We need to protect our constitution and especially our rights to bear arms. You can fax all 535 lawmakers your opinion for free on the Second Amendment Protection Act.

Sounds like you have it under control....I would train at the range coming from the holster and make sure you are able to present your weapon fast and accurately. I have just obtained a CCW permit, and am seeking your opinion as to what you consider the best gun for concealed carry, and the best way to carry that gun.

To give you some background, I have shot pretty much every caliber gun. I have had extensive practice shooting .45ACP. I am leaning toward a semi-automatic because of that training, as well as the available high capacity magazines. I am considering these calibers: .380, 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm and .45ACP.

I do not want a high maintenance gun, that is, one that needs daily attention.

Although I do handload, I am aware of the legal necessity of using commercially loaded ammunition in defense weapons. I prefer using hollow point defensive ammunition, so the gun must be reliable with that type of ammunition.

I am physically very large. I do have a consideration about how to conceal. I am an amputee, lower left leg. I prefer to wear shorts and a T-Shirt in almost all weather, including Winter with snow on the ground. I use a prosthetic leg and a power-chair to get around.
